My First English Poem

I don’t need a lover

I just need a leader, a captain for my family later

I need someone who corrects me when I am wrong and guides me all day long

I don’t want a super actor, I only hope a good father

I need a friend to share my life with

Educate and love the kids in spirit

Together build a home, stand still and face the storm

It’s not a sudden leisure, but a man who’s mature,

whose mind for the clear future and makes me always sure

A man who will say I’m with you, when I’m in blue.

 It’s not only a boy to be shown, yet a light to be owned

It’s someone who understands, gives me a hand until I can

Always tells the truth despite it hurt

Provides respect instead of neglect

Talks gently and listens carefully

Since he does care of my scare

Sings a song to make me so strong

Someone who keeps giving a smile, when I give up for a while

A guy to ask questions, a place of destination

I expect you as the clue to make all those come true.

Wherever you are, ‘though it is still so far

It isn’t a trouble, I will make it possible

I believe someday, you’d cheer up my day

Stands by me saying a vow, “I love you, sweet, I’m yours now”

On your hug I will lay, keep my faith throughout the way.

Cross the rain as a train, love is strong as a chain.

Darling, life is a voyage more than just passing the age.

Life my dream as esteem, enjoy it as an ice cream.

As it comes in my sleep, I will see and I will keep

Let it shine in a glory, feeling happy not to worry

Something that had been written, hope someday could be taken
